I say: Again you've got to be kidding. Hamas will never concede to this and neither will the Taliban. They might say they will, but their beliefs says it's alright to lie ti infidels. According to them that is anyone who isn't a Muslim.

And last you think because he went to a cathedral that all of sudden he has God on his side? And of course he might, but it's not about the USA receiving more blessings. We've kind of lost that with all the immorality this country thinks we ought to embrace. And the widespread acceptance of sin.

Time will tell on this one, certainly - but it's a good sight further than anyone's bothered to go so far.

I disagree with his abortion stance, yes - but I also know it's a complicated issue. Here's the thing you have to keep in mind: Roe v. Wade survived REAGAN. Both Bushes. So number one, understand that no president is going to be able to remove it, for very good reason. There is an aspect of telling people what they can do with their reproductive systems that is heinous.

What the President IS doing is something of which I approve: he's going to try to make it much easier for women to obtain and understand birth control from day one.

Preventing Unintended Pregnancy: President Obama was an original co-sponsor of legislation to expand access to contraception, health information, and preventive services to help reduce unintended pregnancies. Introduced in January 2007, the Prevention First Act will increase funding for family planning and comprehensive sex education that teaches both abstinence and safe sex methods. The Act will also end insurance discrimination against contraception, improve awareness about emergency contraception, and provide compassionate assistance to rape victims.

I think we can both agree that things will be much, much better when there aren't unwanted babies all over the place. More to the point...

What happens to them after they're born? It always, always sickens me that some of the loudest people for Pro-Life have no care at all for those children once they're out of the womb.

Given that the previous administration signed off on things like torture and doing away with due process, on things like reducing standards for clean air and drinking water, on starting a war against a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 and instead ignoring Saudi Arabia, which did... I'd say a lot.

I fully believe in fighting terroristm on our soil. I also believe going after a country that has nothing to do with our own terrorism is actually making damn sure they will come after us as soon as they get the chance.

And I can't blame them. After all... that's what we did.

I am more aware than most that SOME Muslims pull the "convert or die" mantra. However - the majority do not. I absolutely refuse to declare war on an entire group of people because of a few.

I know that we have to at least try. I know that running around bombing people just because you don't like them or you're afraid of them is exactly what was done to us on 9/11. Unless you are prepared to justify those deaths and that behavior, you really need to rethink this opinion.

Actually, I know he has God on his side because of Scripture:
